As a peer-to-peer fundraiser for a small organization, Brecka Putnam doesn’t have a big budget to use for professional training.
So when Putnam heard about an opportunity to attend the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum’s 2015 conference on a scholarship, she jumped at the opportunity.
And she’s glad she did.
Thanks to DonorDrive, Putnam was able to earn a scholarship to attend the 2015 event in February — where she had the chance to meet with her colleagues and gain access to strategies and research that have shaped her work at CureSearch for Children’s Cancer.
DonorDrive is offering the same opportunity to a fortunate fundraiser for the 2016 event, which will be held Feb. 24-25 in Orlando.
The scholarship is open to organizations that have not previously sent employees to attend the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum (formerly Run Walk Ride Fundraising Council) Conference.
This is a great opportunity for fundraisers at smaller organizations to attend the P2P field’s premier event.
The full rules — and access to the entry form — are available here.
But you need to act quickly. The deadline for applications is Dec. 18!
