Give Local America, the annual one-day crowdfunding event, will have a high-profile partner for the next five years.
Kimbia, the fundraising software company that plans the massive fundraising event, this week announced a five-year media partnership with Gannett Co., Inc., which will use its various media platforms to help Give Local America reach more than 100 million consumers a month. In addition to promotions through USA TODAY and its 92 local news organizations, Gannett will provide support through sponsorship recruitment for the Give Local America crowdfunding event, which raised $68 million for 9,000 nonprofits this year.
