Original Broadcast: January 2022
Whether it is walk team captains, corporate champions or digital advocates, the strongest peer-to-peer campaigns are still built by the support of volunteer leaders. But what does volunteer leadership look like in 2022? What are volunteers are looking for? And where do we find them?
In this recorded webinar, Marcie Maxwell, Managing Director of the P2P Professional Forum talks with Kevin Sims of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network about his experience with recruiting and engaging volunteer leaders for 60+ volunteer-led Purple Stride Walks, how our strategies for volunteers need to change… and how it needs to stay the same.
Speaker:
Kevin Sims, National Director, Community Engagement at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
As the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s National Director of Community Engagement, Kevin Sims leads the volunteer and fundraising efforts for the organization leading the fight against the toughest cancer.
