Since its launch in 2008, Climate Ride has rallied more than 850 riders who have collectively pedaled more than 351,000 miles, generating more than $1.5 million for sustainability and bike advocacy organizations. Managing four multi-day rides, hikes and a growing do-it-yourself fundraising program requires a strong participant support system.
Join Climate Ride’s Andrew Valainis and DonorDrive’s Andrea Frieder to hear how Climate Ride has successfully automated key communication to free up staff time to focus on supporting participants.
In this webinar, you’ll learn:
- How automatic emails from fundraising software can alert staff when to encourage and when to congratulate fundraisers
- How special recognition and prizes can turn hardcore participants into hardcore fundraisers
- How letting the software do much of the heavy lifting frees staff to focus on helping participants have the experience of a lifetime
Speakers:
Born and raised in Rhode Island, Andrew studied ocean engineering and Spanish at the University of Rhode Island. However, he spent much of his time studying sustainability and anthropology. After graduating, he moved to Montana and spent a year and a half working with AmeriCorps on energy efficiency and education programs before linking up with Climate Ride. Andrew enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, touring the Zoo Town breweries, and watching live music.
