Team World Vision recently shared how it has been able to use mobile communications to inspire participants running on its behalf in marathons to raise more money and build deeper ties to the organization.
Video has become one of the key pieces of its mobile storytelling strategy — as the charity has developed a series of inspirational videos that aim to motivate supporters to run on its behalf.
The video above is a great example for how to use the medium to invoke strong emotion and speak directly to the viewer.
The video asks a simple question: What do you run for?
And in just over 2 minutes, it features runners sharing why they run — closing with a simple message: “Run a Race. Change Lives Around the World.”
Does your organization have a peer-to-peer fundraising video? Has one of your supporters taken the time to create his or her own video? If so, we’d love to share it with the rest of the peer-to-peer fundraising community.
Share a link to your video in the comments section below, or send it to us at peter@peertopeerforum.com.
And be sure to check out more peer-to-peer fundraising videos.
