As CEO of Charity Dynamics, Kathy Kempff brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and retail sectors to her role. She joined Charity Dynamics in 2008, serving in several key positions including Vice President of Interactive Services and Senior Vice President of Products. She has been instrumental in the development and growth of the company’s Boundless Fundraising product division and has managed services organizations for Charity Dynamics and Convio.
Kathy is also the founder and president of Moja Tu, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships for children in developing nations. She received her bachelor’s degree in management information systems as well as her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Jim Birrell, Director, Obliteride, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
Jim Birrell is the Director of Obliteride, a fundraising event for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Jim has more than 30 years of experience directing world-class sporting events around the world including numerous fundraising events for non-profit organizations, five Olympic events and four Goodwill Games. From marketing and sponsorship to route development, technical operation and television functions, Jim’s knowledge and experience in creating and implementing multi-faceted sporting events is immense. Jim is an avid cyclist, BBQ pit master and woodworker who enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
Jamie Lamont, Director, Special Events, SickKids Foundation
He has an established career in the marketing, event planning and fundraising industries.Having worked in the agency world, non-profit sector and as a consultant, he has a variety of experiences to draw from when it comes to planning and strategy. Jamie has spent the last 8 years in the Hospital Foundation sector as Director of Events at Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, Sinai Health Foundation and currently at SickKids Foundation. He has been involved in the creation and execution of several large fundraising events in Toronto including SickKids GetLoud, RBC Run for the Kids, Rock N Stroll, and Great Cycle Challenge Canada.
Carrie Stoval, VP, Peer To Peer Fundraising Programs, Susan G. Komen
Carrie has been at Susan G. Komen for over 20 years in various capacities working with the Affiliate Network, to oversee the National Sponsorship program and now utilizes all of those experiences to lead the organization’s P2P programs. Serving as Vice President of Peer to Peer Fundraising Programs, Carrie and her team oversee the Race for the Cure and MORE THAN PINK Walk Series, Susan G. Komen 3-Day and DIY programs.
